Taleo keeps a candidate profile, not a one-off upload
Oracle Taleo reads your attachment into a stored profile so later requisitions can reuse it. When that read fails, the current application looks empty and the next one starts from the same missing fields.
This is a different problem from a generic ATS skim, and it is not Workday autofill scramble. You are trying to give Taleo a file it can map: a simple .docx, contact and dates in the body, no tables, then a paste test and a profile check before you submit.

Designed PDFs, headers, and tables are the usual source of a Taleo miss. If a fact is not ordinary body text, assume the profile may drop it or attach it to the wrong field.

How to fix a Taleo resume that will not parse

Save a simple .docx, not a designed PDF
Taleo on taleo.net and jobs.oracle.com often drops text from a designed PDF. Export a single-column Word file with ordinary body text. If the requisition also accepts paste, use that same clean text.

Pull contact and dates out of headers, footers, and tables
Taleo parsers routinely miss headers, footers, text boxes, and table cells. Type your name, email, phone, and each job's dates as ordinary lines in the body. A table that looks tidy in Word is a common reason contact or tenure never reaches the candidate profile.

Run a copy-paste test, then check the Taleo profile fields
Select the whole resume, paste it into a plain-text box, and read what survived. Then open the Taleo profile after upload. If titles sit in the wrong field or education swallowed a job, the next requisition on that site will reuse the same broken parse.

Re-upload the cleaned file to that same requisition
Replace the attachment on the taleo.net or jobs.oracle.com posting you are applying to. Correct leftover profile fields by hand, and fix the source file so later Oracle/Taleo applications start from a clean parse.

Aim the cleaned resume at that same Oracle/Taleo job
A file that parses still has to match the posting. Rewrite so the relevant proof is easy to find, use the employer's language only where it is true, and write a cover letter for that requisition.
